Lady Jackets Fall To Tigers

BROWNWOOD, Texas- The Howard Payne University volleyball team lost 3-0 to East Texas Baptist University Saturday afternoon at the Brownwood Coliseum.

The Lady Jackets dropped three straight set to the Tigers by scores of 25-16, 25-22, and 25-15.

Carsyn Bilbrey had six kills for Howard Payne, followed by Amaya Marshall with five. Riley Brittain had 12 assists and Hannah Vega had 12 digs.

Avery Reid had 20 kills for East Texas Baptist and Kaylee Morton had 20 assists.

The Lady Jackets fall to 4-18 on the season and 2-13 in American Southwest Conference action. The Tigers improve to 11-9 and 8-6 in conference play.

Howard Payne will play Concordia University on Tuesday Oct. 26th in the Brownwood Coliseum.
