SAN ANTONIO, Texas- The Howard Payne University women's soccer team lost to No. 9 Trinity University 6-0 on Saturday evening.
Howard Payne held Trinity to one goal in the first 45 minutes of play but could not stop the nationally-ranked team in the second period dropping the road match 6-0.

Delaney Castor was the starting goalkeeper for HPU. She recorded 11 saves and allowed four goals.Â
With today's loss, the Lady Jackets fall to 5-2 on the season. They will open conference play on Thursday, Sept. 23rd, against the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas, at 2:00 PM.
