2021: Lexi De La Cruz  as named ASC Freshman of the Year, 1st Team All-Conference, and 3rd team All-Region as a forward for the Lady Jackets. De La Cruz led the American Southwest Conference in points with 34, points per game with 1.89, and goals per game with .72. She tied for first in goals with 13, assists with eight, and assists per game with .44. Lexi started in all 18 games for the Lady Jackets and logged 1,426 total minutes of action. She had a hat trick and an assist in the 4-1 victory over Schreiner and was named ASC player of the week two times this season.

HS: Lexi attended Coronado High School in Lubbock, Texas, where she played soccer for four years. In her time there, she was named women's soccer player of the year. In addition, she was named district MVP three times and received first-team all-district honors four times and second-team all-state honors. She also participated in cross country.

Personal: Lexi is the daughter of Chris and Traci De La Cruz and has two siblings. She is majoring in education and aspires to be a high school biology teacher and coach.
