SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Howard Payne University women's basketball team fell 90-58 in non-conference action at Trinity University Monday evening.

HPU's Bria Neal recorded her fifth double double of the year with 22 points and 10 rebounds versus Trinity. 

Despite getting double digit scoring from Neal, Lily Janek, Salina Ali, the Lady Jackets were outrebounded 63-36 in the game leading to the 90-58 final.

Following Neal's game-high 22 points was Lily Janek with 13 points on 3 of 6 three-point shooting. Salina Ali added 10 points. Amanda Turpin finished with eight points, nine rebounds, four assists and four block shots.

Trinity was led by Ashlyn Milton with 17 points and seven rebounds.

Howard Payne is now 3-13 overall and Trinity stands at 9-2 on the season. The Lady Jackets will play next on Thursday at home in a conference matchup with Hardin-Simmons University at 5:30 pm.
