BROWNWOOD, Texas- This evening, the Howard Payne University Lady Jackets dropped their match to the McMurry University War Hawks 3-0.
 
In the Lady Jackets versus War Hawks match, the sets ended by the scores of 25-20, 25-18, and 25-18.
 
The Lady Jackets' senior, Mitsue Rodriguez, led the team with ten kills, followed by Rylee Spencer with six. Libero, Hannah Vega, had a total of 16 digs, followed by Carsyn Bilbrey with ten digs. Leading the team in assists was Kaitlyn Elsten with 22, and leading the team in blocks was Abbie Knepper with three.
 
The Lady Jackets are now 2-16 on the season, and 1-10 in conference. The Lady Jackets play again tomorrow, Oct. 12^th, in Kerrville, Texas. They will compete against Schreiner University at 6:00 pm!
