BROWNWOOD, Texas- This evening, the Howard Payne University Lady Jackets dropped their match to the Hardin-Simmons University Cowgirls 3-0.

The Lady Jackets' sets against HSU ended by the scores of 25-19, 25-19, and 25-18.
 
Howard Payne's leader in digs was Hannah Vega with 16 digs, followed by Riley Brittain with 11. Brittain also led the team in assists with 27. Rylee Spencer lead HPU with nine kills and five blocks, followed closely by Abbie Knepper with eight kills and four blocks. Monica Garcia also had three aces for the Lady Jackets.

The Lady Jackets are now 2-18 on the season, and 1-11 in conference. The Lady Jackets' next game will be in Marshall, Texas against East Texas Baptist University. They will compete this Friday, Oct. 21^st, at 6:00 pm!
