Lady Jackets Drop Road Match

MARSHALL, Texas- The Howard Payne University Lady Jackets dropped to the East Texas Baptist University Tigers this evening 3-0.
 
The sets of the Lady Jackets' match ended by the scores of 25-14, 25-15, and 25-13.
 
Howard Payne's Hannah Vega led the team with 16 digs. Leading the team in kills was Rylee Spencer with six kills, followed by Carsyn Bilbrey with five. Leading the Lady Jackets in assists, Riley Brittain had 12 assists, followed by Kaitlyn Elsten with seven. Mitsue Rodriguez and Rylee Spencer had two blocks each.

The Lady Jackets are now 2-19 on the season, and 1-12 in conference. The Lady Jackets play again tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 22nd in Houston, Texas. They are competing in a double header against Dallas Christian College at 3:00 pm and University of St. Thomas at 6:00 pm!
