DALLAS, Texas – The American Southwest Conference today announced the 2024-25 ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Teams and Howard Payne University's Seth Bowman was named to the team list for baseball.
 
A 2nd Team All-Conference selection at first base, Seth Bowman was a consistent offensive contributor, starting in all 40 games. He posted a .267 batting average, with 40 hits, 7 doubles, 3 triples, and 5 home runs. He led the team with 36 RBIs and produced a .453 slugging percentage, highlighting his value as a middle-of-the-order presence. Graduating with a 4.0 Cum. GPA, this was Bowman's second career All-Conference selection. Among his academic awards, he was named Outstanding Student in Bible, Outstanding Student in Psychology, CSC Academic All-District, and was awarded the ASC Medal of Honor.
