DALLAS, Texas – The American Southwest Conference today announced the 2024-25 ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Teams and Howard Payne University's Jackson Coulson was named to the team list for football.
 
Named to the Outstanding Sportsman Team of the Year and a 2nd Team All-ASC selection at Punter, Jackson Coulson led the ASC in total punting yards with 1,901 (36.6 per punt). He had a long of 61 yards and placed 10 inside the 20-yard line. He was also named ASC Special Teams Player of the Week once this year. He was also named CSC Academic All-District.
 
Student-athletes were nominated by their institution as part of the Distinguished Scholar-Athlete team for each sport.
