BROWNWOOD, Texas- The Howard Payne University men's soccer home opener against the University of Saint Thomas ended in a goalless draw at the Citizens Bank Field Saturday evening.
 
The first half was an intense and cagey affair for both sides, with nine total fouls between the two teams. The Yellow Jackets and the Celts both had the same number of shots with six and four shots on target. Adrian Villa had four saves to keep the score level at 0-0.
 
The second half continued the same energy by both teams. At the end of the game, the Yellows jackets had total 10 shots and six shots on target. Villa made seven saves to keep the Yellow Jackets in the game and picked up his first clean sheet of the season.
