2010- Demetrius Cody led the Yellow Jackets in tackles with 91 placing him second overall in the ASC. He had six tackles for loss, one sack, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He was named team linebacker of the year, team most valuable player, team captain, Honorable Mention All-Conference at linebacker and Academic All-Conference.

2009- Playing mostly safety, Demetrius recorded 37 tackles (17 solo), four tackles for loss, and one interception. He excelled in the classroom as well being named Academic All-Conference.

2008- Although Cody only started one game, he made the most of it. In that one game, not only was he was recognized by the American Southwest Conference as a Player of the Week, but also by D3football.com, to the National Team of the Week. Cody played in 7 other games, and rounded up 18 unassisted and 28 assisted tackles, 9 of which went for a loss. He also had 2.5 sacks and 1 interception on the year.

HS- Demetrius is a 2008 graduate of Early County High School. He lettered 3 years in football and 2 years in track. Helping his team to three consecutive playoff appearances as a safety and linebacker, he was named to the All-Region football team. 

Personal- Demetrius is majoring in Criminal Justice and is the son of Isolde Rorie and Jackie Cody . He has two brothers and two sisters.
