Biography

Makeisha is with the Lady Jackets going on her second year, having red shirted in the 2006-07 season due to a knee injury. Before coming to Howard Payne, Makeisha played and attended Southwestern Community College where she graduated in 2006. 
 
She is currently a senior at HPU and is majoring in Elementary Education. After college, she plans on getting a teaching job or working at a daycare.
 
Makeisha graduated from Pine Tree High School of Longview, Texas in May of 2004 where she was her basketball team’s captain and received the award of Most Improved Player.
