This season was named to the American Southwest Conference 2nd team All-West Division
Kim is in her fifth year of being a Lady Jacket, having red shirted one year due to an injury. In the 2006-7 season, as a junior on the court, Kim was the team’s third leading scorer, with an average of 10.1 points per game. She also contributed to the team by averaging 6.1 rebounds per game. As a sophomore on the court, Kim contributed 8.2 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.
Awards at HPU included Athlete of the Week honors and All Conference Honorable Mention.
Kim is currently a Math major as a senior at HPU, and is also involved in Zeta Chi and the Student Activities Council. After Howard Payne, Kim plans on teaching Math and coaching basketball and/or volleyball somewhere around the Austin area, either on the high school or middle school level.
Kim graduated in May of 2003 from Bloomington High School of Bloomington, Texas where received the following honors: Salutatorian, Who’s Who Among High School Students, Student Council President, National Honor Society, Most Valuable Player in Basketball, Volleyball and Track.
