Biography

2014-15: Started in 14 of the 27 games played in for the Lady Jackets. Averaged 7.4 ppg and 1.4 rpg. Led the team in three-points made with 49. Scored a season high 26 points versus LeTourneau. She was named Academic All-Conference.

2013-14: Started 11 of 26 games played in. Averaged 5.3 ppg and was third on the team in three-pointers made with 31. Scored a season high 24 points versus Louisiana College.

2012-2013- Yessenia saw action in 13 games for the Lady Jackets averaging 2.2 points per game. She had a season high of eight points against Sul Ross State.

HS: Yess is a 2012 graduate of Bel Air High School in El Paso, Texas where she lettered 4 years in basketball.  As a member of the Lady Highlanders, she led the team to the 1-5A District Championship and Bi-District Championships. She three-time 1st Team All-District selection and was named District 1-5A MVP.

Personal: Yess is a Psychology major from El Paso, Texas. She is the youngest daughter of Patricia and Jose Cazares and has an older sister.
