Summary

Biography

2019: An Honorable Mention All-Conference player at third base, Groves finished the season hitting .304 in ASC play while playing solid defense at the hot corner. This was his third time to receive all-conference honors. He was also an Academic All-Conference selection.

2018: David was named Honorable Mention at Third Base. in 19 runs on 24 hits, David had five doubles and one home run on the year. He walked a team high 35 times (2nd in the ASC) this season and was 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts.

2017: Named 3rd Team All-Conference, Groves led the Jackets with a .337 avg at the plate along with 18 RBIs on 31 hits. David's on base pct. was also best on the team at .475. For his performance during the post-season he was named to the 2017 ASC All-Tournament team.

2016: Registered 54 at-bats during 17 game appearances as a freshmen. Groves ended the season with 15 hits, nine RBI's and eight runs while playing third base for the Jackets.

High School: Graduated from Graham High School in 2015.

Personal: Majoring in engineering and wants to design sports stadiums when he graduates.
