2019: Started in all 39 games played in for the Yellow Jackets driving in 19 runs on 34 hits with seven doubles, two triples and two homeruns. With 10 multi-hit games on the year, he had recorded three hits in a game twice this season.

2018: Jacob was named Honorable Mention for Second Base. He hit .284 at the plate with five doubles and a team high six triples (2nd in the ASC). On 33 hits, he drove in 21 runs and was 6-for-7 in stolen base attempts.
 
College: Rodriguez played one previous season at Coastal Bend College before becoming a Howard Payne Yellow Jacket. 

High School: A 2015 graduate of Klein Collins High School in Spring, Tx.  Where he played three years of varsity baseball, helping his team to three District Champ wins.  

Personal: Jacob is the son of Paola and David Rodriguez, along with four siblings. Majoring in Kinesiology with hopes of becoming a college coach.
