2019: A Second Team All-American selection in the outfield by D3baseball.com and Third Team All-American selection with the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) , Noah Payne finished the regular season third in the American Southwest Conference in batting avg. at .401, second in slugging pct. at .768, second in on base pct. with .508, first in runs scored with 50, sixth in RBIs with 44, fifth in total bases with 109, first in hit by pitches with 15, sixth in stolen bases with 18, and first in the nation in triples with 12. He received all-conference honors all four years playing for the Jackets including 1st Team All-ASC this season. Payne was also recognized as a First Team All-West Region Selection with D3Baseball.com and the ABCA.
2018: Noah was named Honorable Mention as a utility player. Playing in both the infield and outfield for the Jackets, Payne scored 33 runs on 30 hits with four doubles, four triples and one home run. He was 9-for-12 on stolen base attempts.
2017: Named Honorable Mention All-Conference, Payne led the Jackets in hits with 43 on the year while driving in 18 runs. He was 13-for-15 on stolen base attempts this season and boasted a .401 on base pct. He also had 10 multiple hit games this year. He was also an Academic All-Conference slection.
2016: Started in three games and faced 11 batters, giving up just one run while recording a .182 ERA. Noah was a recipient of second team All-ASC honors while leading the team in triples with three and placing second in hits with 36. He was also recognized by the ASC as an All-Academic Honor Roll recipient.
High School: A native of Humble, Texas, Payne graduated from Atascocita High School in 2015. Helped lead his baseball team to a district championship and a state finals appearance while being named second team All-Conference.
Personal: Majoring in engineering with the goal of becoming a mechanical engineer upon graduation. Noah is the son of Bill and Lisa Payne and he has one sibling.
