Biography

2016-17: Hurd was named to the ASC West-Division All-Freshman Team playing in all 24 games for the Jackets and starting in three. He averaged 9.1 ppg and scored a season high 20 points versus Concordia Texas this year. 

High School: Hurd is a 2016 graduate of Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Texas. Helped lead his team to two 5A State Championships and was a two time DISD Coca Cola Champion. His team only lost eight games over De'Marcus's two years of varsity basketball. 

Personal: De'Marcus is the son of Marcus and Sandra Hurd and he has one sister. Majoring in Kinesiology with plans on becoming a basketball coach in the future.
