2018-2019: Started in 24 of 24 games played in for HPU. Averaging 5.1 ppg and 4.5 rpg, he had a season high 13 points twice during the year. He was an Academic All-Conference selection.

2017-2018: Started 8 of 25 games played in for the Jackets...Scored a season high 10 points versus Millsaps and grabbed a season high seven rebounds versus Southwestern (TX)...Was an Academic All-Conference selection.

2016-2017: Started in 7 of 24 games played in for Howard Payne...Scored a season high 11 points versus Ozarks (AR) with a season high seven rebounds at Belhaven.

High School: Davis was a two time First Team All-District selection at Scurry-Rosser High School before graduating in 2016. He was also a four year varsity athlete in football and basketball. 

Personal: Talen is the son of Jerrell Davis and Tara Bachtel and he has two siblings. He is majoring in Exercise and Sport Science.
