2021-22: Playing in 20 games for the Yellow Jackets and starting in 12 of them, Godfrey had 224 points, 18 assists, 53 rebounds, and 36 steals. He had a season high of 18 points versus McMurry University.

2020-21: Appearing in 14 games for the Yellow Jackets, Jerren had 74 points, 31 rebounds, and eight steals for the season. He had a season-high 15 points versus McMurry. 

Previous School: Jerren attended San Jacinto College in Houston, Texas, before transferring to Howard Payne.

HS: Jerren played three years of basketball at Dayton High School in Dayton, Texas.  His junior season, he set the second-highest record in high school history for most points scored in a season at 523 points.  The following season, he was named District Most Valuable Player.  His team made playoffs his final two seasons.

Personal: Jerren is the son of Chris and Rosie Godfrey and has two siblings.  He has served as an usher for the Church of Trinity Valley.  He is pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy.
