Biography

2024: An All-Conference Honorable Mention pitcher, Gary Blair made 11 appearances on the mound for HPU, 10 of those as the starting pitcher. Blair notched a team-high 58.2 innings pitched while also leading the team in strikeouts with 33. He recorded a season-high seven strikeouts while pitching 6.2 innings versus the Ozarks.

2023: Appearing in 11 games for the Yellow Jackets, Blair racked up 25 strikeouts through 52 innings pitched while posting a record of 4-1. He had a season-high five strikeouts versus UMHB. Blair was an Academic All-Conference selection as well.

2022: Appearing in 12 games for the Yellow Jackets, Blair racked up 25 strikeouts in 40 innings and posted a record of 3-3.

2021: Pitching in three games for the Yellow Jackets, Gary threw three innings and recorded one strikeout.

HS: Gary played three seasons of baseball at Centennial High School in Burleson, Texas.
