HS: Jamal attended John B Connally High School in Pflugerville, Texas. A three-year Letterman, Jamal had an incredible career raking up accolades. As the 2024 Football MVP for his school, Jamal earned 1^st team All-District honors for Running Back. A two-time Central Texas All-Star, Jamal had amazing feats he earned, such as tying his schools record for most touchdowns in a game! (5) Jamal helped John B Connally with being the highest scoring team per game in their respective District. Along with being a fantastic football player, Jamal also was decorated in Track & Field and Power lifting, earning All-State honors for Power lifting and reaching Regionals in Track.
 
Personal: Jamal is the son of Robin and Shannon Mahoney, and he has six siblings. He plans to get a degree in Business and start a foundation to help his family.
