Summary

Biography

2010- Cote led the ASC in punting with 1,978 yards for a 42.1 yard average. He placed 12 inside the 20-yard line and had a long of 63 yards on the year. He was named First Team All-Conference.

2009- He was named 2nd Team All-Conference as a punter. Cote punted 56 times for 2,201 yards for a 39.3 avg. He placed 23 inside the 20-yard line with a long of 64 yards on the year.

2008- Cote played in all 10 games as Howard Payne’s punter as a freshman. He punted 70 balls for an average of 38.4 yards a punt. His stats earned him an ASC All-Conference Honorable Mention selection as a punter. 

HS- He is a 2008 graduate of Flatonia High School where he lettered in several sports including 4 years in football and baseball. He received many All-District honors including All-State as a punter. He was a standout on the baseball field helping lead his team to the state finals. He was named 3rd team All-State as a pitcher. 

Personal- Cote is majoring in Exercise Sports Science and after graduation plans on either being a coach or a personal trainer. He is the son of Richard and Kelly Schacherl and has one younger sister.
