2009- Amber played in 101 games as a junior for the Lady Jackets. She ended the year no. 2 on the team with 431 assists. She also had 119 kills, 193 digs, and 24 assisted blocks. She also finished no. 1 on the team in service aces with 36. 

Paris JC-Amber played two seasons at Paris Junior College. As a freshman, she was named Freshman Setter of the Year in the conference. She was She garnered 2nd Team All-Conference Honorable Mention accolades as a freshman and sophomore finishing 24th in the nation (NJCAA Division I) in aces per set. 

Personal-Amber is from McAllen, Texas and is majoring in Spanish and Cross Cultural Studies. She wants to become a translator and maybe move to Guatemala to teach English someday. She is the daughter of Penny and Wendell Curry.
