Biography

2019: Started in 23 of 28 games played in for HPU. He recorded 20 hits and drove in 15 runs with five doubles, a triple and three homeuns. Was an Academic All-Conference honoree.

2018: Started in 15 of 19 games played in for the Jackets with 13 hits and 12 RBI. Was an Academic All-Conference honoree.

2017: Recorded 12 RBIs on 14 hits with five doubles. Was named Academic All-Conference for his work in the classroom.

2016: Appeared in 11 contests for the Jackets as a freshmen, starting in two. Salazar recorded three hits, two runs, two RBI's and one triple over 15 at-bats.

College: Jacob was a redshirt athlete at Cisco College before transferring to Howard Payne for his freshmen season.
