2023: A Third Team All-Conference selection, junior defensive back KC Cornelious appeared in all ten games for the Yellow Jackets recording 42 total tackles, 20 solo, with 1.5 for a loss. Cornelioius finished second for HPU in interceptions with two with four pass breakups as well.

2022: Cornelius appeared in nine games for HPU recording a total of 55 tackles (38 solo, 17 assisted) with 3.5 being tackles for loss. Cornelius also recorded a sack as well as a forced fumble.

2021: Did not see action for the Yellow Jackets.

Previous School: Cornelious previously attended Midwestern State University in Wichita, Falls.

HS: A three-year starter at cornerback for coach Randy Jackson at North Forney (Texas) High School... made 20 tackles in five games as a senior in 2018 including 14 solo stops and three tackles for loss including two interceptions, three pass breakups and a fumble recovery... helped Falcons to the UIL Texas Class 5A regional semifinals with a 10-3 record as a junior in 2017 finishing campaign with 88 tackles including 16 solo stops and five tackles for loss to go along with three interceptions and two pass breakups... made 24 tackles in four varsity games as a sophomore in 2016 including 13 solo stops with two interceptions, three pass breakups and one forced fumble... also competed three track & field seasons in the long and triple jumps...
