2019-20: Appearing in 21 games and starting in two for the Yellow Jackets, he was a West Division All-Freshman Team selection at the conclusion of the season.  He averaged 7.4 pointers per game, scoring a career-high 21 points at LeTourneau.  He pulled down 30 rebounds, while dishing out 30 assists with a season-high seven coming against Ozarks (AR).

HS: A 2019 graduate of Pro-Vision Academy in Houston, Texas. Smith was a four-year varsity letter. His freshman season he received freshman of the year. Sophomore year Smith received first team all-district. Smith was on the VYPE player watch list. Jacob’s senior year he received MVP. At Pro-Vision Smith got first-team all-district, and first team all-state. In 2019 Jacob led his team to a State Championship.

Personal: Jacob is the son of Jour’dan Sr. and Felecia Smith. Smith is a Communications Major.
