2011-12- Dana was named Honorable Mention ASC West Division. Marrs averaged 8.7 points per game and led the team in three-point baskets with 39. She also grabbed 3.1 rebounds per game.

HS/College: Dana is a 2008 graduate of La Grange High School in La Grange, Texas where she lettered in two sports, Volleyball and Basketball. While playing for the Leopards, she earned such honors as Tri-county Newcomer of the Year, District 19 3A Newcomer of the Year, 1st Team All-District, Two time MVP of the Weimar Wildcat Tournament, the Gonzales HS Tournament MVP, and the NBA 3 on 3 team champion. In 2008, she was voted La Grange High School’s Best Female Athlete. Prior to attending HPU, she attended Wayne State College (Wayne, Nebraska) and Blinn College (TX).

Personal: Dana is the daughter of Lou Ann and Danny Marrs of La Grange, Texas. She has one brother and one sister. Dana is a Kinesiology major, minoring in Business who has the ambition of becoming a coach and teacher.
