Biography

2014-15: Bradley finished the 2014-15 regular season as the leading scorer in Division III with 22.3 points per game. Her 602 points overall are the most scored by an ASC player in a single season since former Howard Payne player and current coach of the Lady Jackets, Meia Daniels, set the conference record in 2008 (649). The only ASC player to record more than 1,000 minutes on the floor (1,018), Bradley ranked in the top 10 in six league categories. In addition to leading the ASC in scoring, Bradley also held top marks in steals (93), ranked second in free throw percentage (.831), fourth in field goal percentage (.449) and 10th in assists (3.1). D3Hoops.com named Bradley the South Region Player of the Year and a third-team All-American. SmallCollegeHoops.com named her second-team All-American and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) tabbed her honorable mention All-American.

2013-14: Danyel Bradley was named First Team All-ASC. Danyel led the American Southwest Conference in scoring at 20.0 per game and in free-throw pct at 86.2%. She was named ASC Player of the Week twice this year. She scored a career high 34 points versus Louisiana College this year breaking an ASC record hitting 7 of 7 from behind the arc in the game. She was also named 2nd team All-Region by D3hoops.com.

2012-2013- Danyel played in 25 games for the Lady Jackets and averaged 8.7 points per game coming off the bench. Bradley also averaged 4.8 rebounds per game. Danyel scored a season high 20 versus Concordia (TX) and grabbed a season high 10 rebounds in the same game. Danyel was named ASC Honorable Mention All-West Division and to the All-ASC West Division Freshman Team.

HS:  Danyel is a 2012 graduate of Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas, Texas where she graduated on the Honor Roll and National Honor Society.  As a member of the Lady Friars athletic, she lettered 3 years in basketball and 1 year in track.  In 2012 she receive honors as TAPPS 1-5A Defensive Player of the Year, TAPPS 1-5A All District-First Team, TAPPS 5A All State-First Team, TAPPS 5A All State Tournament, TABC All Star, TAPPS All Star, TAPPS All Star Game, and TABC All Star Game.  In 2010, she help led the Lady Friars to their 27 Overall State Championships a National Record and was TAPPS 1-5A All District Honorable Mention.  

Personal:  Danyel is from DeSoto, Texas.  She is the oldest daughter of Alemeta and Darren Bradley.  She has a younger sister and two younger brothers.  She is a Criminal Justice major, minoring in Forensic Science who has the ambitions of becoming a CSI Agent.
