Austin, Texas- The Howard Payne Lady Jacket Volleyball team came up short in a conference match at Concordia on Saturday, Sept. 29th.
After a dropping a tough first set 25-13, HPU stepped up their game playing the rest of the match much closer dropping the next two sets 25-22 and 25-19.
Zhartaezia Bradley led the match with 9 kills and 3 blocks, followed by Mya Ross and Kailey Doering with 6 kills. McKenna Walker added 23 assists and Kylee Shirley posted 15 digs.
Concordia has won five straight and is now 10-7 overall and 5-2 in ASC play, Howard Payne has dropped to 2-13 on the season and 1-7 in conference play.
