ARLINGTON, Texas - Howard Payne University's
Tyrell Thompson scored a game high 21 points in a 117-53 exhibition loss at D-I University of Texas - Arlington Tuesday evening at the College Park Center.

Tyrell Thompson was 6 of 11 from the field and 2 of 4 from the three-point line scoring a game high 21 points for the Yellow Jackets versus UT Arlington. Thompson also was 7 of 11 from the free-throw line and grabbed a team high seven rebounds.
The Yellow Jackets struggled as a team from the field connecting on just 26.6% of their shots, while UT Arlington shot 52.2% from the field on the night.
Michael House followed Thompson's 21 points with 12 points of his own.
Luke Cox added nine points and
Jaylan Ballou dished out a season high eight assists.
UT Arlington was led by Shahada Wellls with 16 points. Seven other Mavs scored in double digits.
The Yellow Jackets will play next on Jan. 2nd at 1:00 pm versus UT Dallas at home in the Brownwood Coliseum.
