ABILENE, Texas - The Howard Payne University men's basketball team fell 112-41 in an exhibition game at D-I Abilene Christian University Sunday afternoon.

Jerren Godfrey led Howard Payne with nine points followed by Myles Brown and Miles Koehler with six points each. Fredrick Watts led HPU with four rebounds.

Howard Payne shot just 26.1% from the field and was outrebounded 47-22 in the game. The Jackets also committed 31 turnovers.

Abilene Christian was led by Cameron Steele with 18 points and seven rebounds.

Howard Payne will play next on Wednesday, Dec. 22nd at D-I University of Texas at Arlington. It will be a 7:00 pm start time.
