Box Score ARLINGTON, Texas - Howard Payne University's Jerren Godfrey led all scorers with 15 points in a 95-46 exhibition loss for the Yellow Jackets at D-I University of Texas at Arlington Wednesday evening.

Jerren Godfrey provided an offensive spark for the Yellow Jackets in the second half, after HPU trailed 59-14 at the halftime break.

The Jackets doubled their shooting percentage from the first to the second half keeping pace with the Mavericks 36-32 in the second period.

Following Godfrey was Tyler Poag with seven points for HPU. Fredrick Watts grabbed a team high six rebounds and Jaylan Ballou finished with six assists, five rebounds and three steals for the Yellow Jackets.

UT Arlington was led by Shemar Wilson with 14 points and eight rebounds off the bench.

The Yellow Jackets will play next on Thursday, Jan. 6th at Concordia University Texas in Austin, it will be a 7:30 pm start time.
