HOWARD PAYNE
Howard Payne comes off a 28-14 victory over East Texas Baptist last week at home. The Yellow Jackets held the Tigers to just 54 yards rushing and forced three turnovers.

Safety KJ Kelley was named the ASC Defensive Player of the Week and to the D3Football.com National Team of the Week after having nine tackles, two inceptions, and a pass breakup versus ETBU. Kelley currently has five interceptions on the season.

QB Landon McKinney was named the ASC Offensive Player of the Week going 22 of 33 passing for 364 yards and four touchdowns.

The Jackets lead the league in total offense (41.0 ppg, 488.2 ypg) and total defense (13.4 ppg, 286 ypg). HPU is only allowing 85.6 yards per game rushing, the best in the ASC.

AUSTIN COLLEGE
The Roos are coming off a 49-7 loss to Sul Ross State last week at home.

QBs Peyton Keily and Jaylon Talton have shared responsibilities guiding the Roo offense. Talton is tabbed with the start this week.

The Austin College offense is a balanced attack but will look to establish the run game versus the Yellow Jackets.
