RICHARDSON, Texas - The Howard Payne University men's golf team finished 10th overall this week at the Texas Cup hosted by the University of Texas at Dallas at the Sherrill Park Golf Course.

Howard Payne finished 10th overall out of 14 teams shooting a 628 (308-320). The Yellow Jackets would finish in front of Hendrix College, Milikin University, Nebraska Wesleyan, and Carthage College.

Kyle Anderson led HPU ending T-25th overall with a 154 (74-80). He was followed by Kaleb Brown with a 157 (75-82) to finish T-38th.

Jake Angerstein (83-79), Brady Nelson (83-79), and Lucas Kinkade (76-86) all three finished T-57th.

The Yellow Jackets will complete next at the Linda Lowery Invitational on March 27-28 in Austin, Texas hosted by Concordia Texas at the Teravista Golf Club.
