DALLAS, Texas - Today the American Southwest Conference announced the 2025 ASC Women's Golf Preseason Watch List and two Lady Jackets were selected. Senior Amada Menchaca and Sophomore Emilee Garcia rounded out the list for HPU.
 
Amada Menchaca - SR - Blanket, Texas
Amada has been a consistent player for the Lady Jacket golf program for the last three seasons. She recorded a season low round of 85 at the American Southwest Conference Championships last year. She was also named to the CSC Academic All-District Team. Amada earned an ASC Women's Golf Player of the Week award during the Fall season.
 
Emilee Garcia – SO – Uvalde, Texas
Emilee is going into her second year for the Howard Payne Women's Golf team and she has been a sigh of relief for Head Coach Troy Drummond. Garcia has been a reliable piece for the program who is destined to take her game to the next level this upcoming season. During the Fall season, Garcia was consistently proving to everyone that though she's only a sophomore, she has the tangibles to be a great piece for the team.
