DALLAS, Texas – The American Southwest Conference today announced the 2024-25 ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Teams and Howard Payne University's Amada Menchaca was named to the team list for women's golf.
 
Amada Menchaca played in nine tournaments for the Lady Jackets averaging 90.3 per round. Her best tournament of the season would be the 2024 Crusader Cup (Stoke Play) finishing 11th out of 42.
 
Student-athletes were nominated by their institution as part of the Distinguished Scholar-Athlete team for each sport.
