BROWNWOOD, Texas- The Howard Payne University men's soccer team (2-4-1, 0-1-0) continues ASC Conference play when the team hosts East Texas Baptist University at the Citizens National bank Field on Saturday evening at 7:30 PM.
LAST TIME OUT
The Yellow Jackets opened ASC Conference with a loss to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Texas, by a score of 1-4 on Saturday evening at the Citizens National Bank Field.
Kolby Lara scored HPU's lone goal directly off a corner in the 10
th minute. UMHB scored the equalizing goal in the 34
th minute before pulling away in the second half.
Adrian Villa resumed his starting spot in goal and made six saves.
SCOUTING REPORT
East Texas Baptist University (4-2-1, 0-0-1) comes into the match off a 1-1 tie away at Schreiner University. ETBU averages two goals scored per game, while allowing just over two scores per game.
