2006-2009- Robert Anders attended both Hill College and Cedar Valley College before coming to Howard Payne. He was the NJCAA national saves leader in 2008 and set both the Metro Athletic Conference and Cedar Valley saves records. During the summers, Anders was a Kentucky-Illinois-Tennessee League All Star, and a part of the Hawaii Collegiate League Championship in 2008 and the New York Collegiate League Runner-ups in 2009.He also holds the record for most career appearances at Cedar Valley College.

HS- As a 2006 graduate of Midlothian High School, Anders lettered two years in baseball and one year in cross country. He received 1st Team All-District and All-Area honors as a pitcher. Robert received The Golden Arm Team Award his senior season. Anders set the Midlothian High School record for the most innings pitched as well as the lowest ERA record.

Personal- Robert is the son of Bill Anders and Tracy Moore and has one younger brother. He plans on majoring in Social Science with a minor in Spanish and hopes to teach and coach in college after graduation.
