2011- Ben came back to the baseball after spending one season with the HPU football program. With a .305 average at the plate, Ben led the Jackets with seven homeruns on 34 hits. He also had the highest slg % on the team at .632.

2009 and 2010- Ben had two appearances on the mound for the Jackets in 2009. In three innings pitched, he struck out two and gave up three hits. In 2010, he was an offensive lineman for the Yellow Jacket football team.

HS- Ben is a 2008 graduate of Graham High School where he lettered in football, power lifting and baseball. Ben received several honors including three-time 1st Team All-District in football, two-time All-State in football, 1st Team All-State and district Pitcher of the Year in baseball. He hit two homeruns and had 16 strike-outs in one game. Outside of athletics, he was also a member of his schools Beta Club and Spanish Club.

Personal- Ben is a Business major and is the son of Ed and Debbie Butler and has two older brothers.
