Biography

2010- Maurice had 32 tackles, 15 solo, for the Yellow Jacket defense. He also assisted one tackle for loss and had one interception with two pass breakups. He also returned punts and kickoffs for HPU. He had three punt returns for 27 yards and 12 kickoff returns for 319 yards (one for 92 yards).

HS- A 2009 graduate of Channelview high school, Maurice spent one year at San Jacinto JC before transferring to Howard Payne. He played cornerback and wide receiver at Channelview receiving Honorable Mention All-District honors.

Personal- He is the son of Rhonda Young and has two younger brothers. He is majoring in Exercise and Sport Science.
