2017: Recorded 23 RBIs on 40 hits with 10 doubles, five triples and two homeruns. With 11 multiple hit games, he had a .310 avg. along with eight stolen bases. He was named Academic All-Conference for his work in the classroom.

2016: Started in 19 games while appearing in 27 for the Jackets during his junior season at Howard Payne. Finished the season with a .343 batting average over 70 at-bats and registered 24 hits and 15 RBI's. Brett was also a member of the ASC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2015: Finished his first season at Howard Payne with a .519 slugging percentage and a .248 batting average. Quackenbush registered 23 hits, 14 runs and led the team in triples with four.

2014: Appeared in ten and started in two games earning a .324 slugging percentage with nine hits, five RBI's and four runs over 37 at-bats. Hit one homerun and finished the season with a .326 on-base percentage. 

College: Before arriving at HPU, he attended Texas A&M University-Kingsville in Kingsville, Texas.

High School: Brett is a 2012 graduate of Kaufer HS in Riviera, Texas, where he earned letters in football, baseball, and basketball.  As a member of the Seahawks program, he help the football to back to back state 2A play-off appearances and to the 2A Baseball regionals in 2010.  He earned All-District honors from 2009-2012.  Academically, he was on the A honor roll for three years. 

Personal: He is from Kingsville, Texas. He is the son of Sarah Ferenbacher and Hugh Quackenbush and has a younger brother and younger sister.  He is a Business Administration major and Computer Information Systems minor.
