Summary

Biography

2016: Ramon was a second team All-ASC selection after finishing the season with a 4-1 record on the mound and a 4.38 ERA. He recorded 26 strike outs in 39.0 innings while only walking 12 batters. He had 12 appearances with five starts and two saves for the Jackets.

2015: Recorded a 2.51 ERA and five saves while facing 172 batters over 14 games. Kyle started two games and finished the season with a 2-2 record, only giving up 13 earned runs over 46.2 innings at pitcher.

2014: Appeared in eight games for Howard Payne while starting in one. He struck out five batters while pitching a total of 6.2 innings.

College: Prior to attending HPU, he attended Galveston College in Galveston, Texas. 

High School: Kyle is a 2012 graduate of East Central HS in San Antonio, Texas. As a member of the Hornets program he helped the Hornets to the 5A state play-offs in football and baseball. He earned All-District honors in baseball and football. 

Personal: Kyle is from San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Angie Ramon and Bill Ramon and has two younger brothers. He is a Criminal Justice major.
