Biography

2015: Hettler saw action in three of the Yellow Jackets 10 games, carrying the ball nine times while being recognized as an ASC All-Academic honor roll recipient.

2014: AJ played in three games for the Jackets with eight carries for 37 yards. He would score a touchdown versus Louisiana College. Was named Academic All-Conference for his work in the classroom.

2013: He played in three games rushing for 17 yards on seven carries.

HS: AJ is a top 10% graduate of Southwest HS in San Antonio, Texas. While competing for the Dragons in football and baseball, he earned 1st Team Academic All-District honors.

Personal: AJ is from San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Arthur Hettler and Gena Hettler. He is the big brother of a younger sister.  He is an Education major and Kinesiology minor who plans on becoming a high school or college coach and teacher.
