2020-21: Did not see any action on the field.

2019: Appearing in five games for the Yellow Jackets, he attempted 34 rushes for 121 total yards, recording two touchdowns in the process.

2017-2018: Attended the University of North Texas.

2016: Played in seven games for the Jackets rushing for 273 yards and three touchdowns on 86 carries. He also caught 13 passes for 135 yards. Two of his rushing TDs came versus Wayland Baptist University.

HS: Shannon played running back at Samuel Clemens High School in Schertz, Texas before graduating in 2016. Played two years of varsity football and also participated in track. He was recognized as an ESPN player of the week and was an honorable mention in football.

Personal: He is majoring in Kinesiology with the intent of studying anesthesiology and wants to become a coach or doctor in the future. He was a church camp leader and he has two siblings.
