2008- Blake had the second highest bating average for the Jackets with a .353. He started at first base in all but one game and had a fielding percentage of .983. He also produced 29 runs batted in. 

2007- Starting in all 29 games Blake led the team with a .319 batting average and a .426 slugging percentage. He received ASC All-West Division Honorable Mention honors. 

2006- His first year with the Yellow Jackets Blake started in all but two games. He had a batting average of .348 and a fielding percentage of .984. He was named ASC All-West Division Honorable Mention first basemen. 

HS- Blake is a 2004 graduate of Brownwood High School where he lettered all four years in soccer and two in football and baseball. In both soccer and football Blake was named New Comer of the Year and 1st Team All-District honors. For soccer was also named to the All-Big County team and the All-Big West Team. For baseball he was named to the 1st Team All-District. 

Personal- He is majoring in Exercise and Sports Science and hopes to play baseball on the professional level or go to Physical Therapy school. He is the son of Rick and Susie Shaffer and has one older sister.
