HS- Andrew is a 2008 graduate of Alba-Golden High School where he lettered all four years in baseball and two in basketball and golf. He was named 2nd Team All-District utility player his freshmen year and 1st Team All-District short stop his junior and senior year. His team named him the Most Outstanding Baseball player of the year his junior and senior year. Besides athletics Andrew was extremely involved in his school. He was President of the National Honor Society, Vice President/Treasurer of Student Council and Class President. He also graduated Valedictorian of his class. 

Personal- He is a Mathematics major and plans on being an Engineer, Mechanical or Aerospace, after graduation. Andrew is the son of Mikel Ramirez and Jana Darby and has three younger siblings.
