2009- Dustin received Honorable Mention All-West Division honors as a third baseman. He started all of the 27 games he played in and had 99 at bats, scoring 22 runs and coming away with a .273 batting average. Dustin also stole 7 bases out on 8 attempts on the year. 

2006-07- Before transferring to Howard Payne Dustin took classes at Mountain View Community College in Dallas. 

HS- Dustin is a 2005 graduate of Grand Prairie High School where he lettered in baseball. His team went to playoffs his junior year and he was named Honorable Mention All-District as a pitcher his senior year. 

Personal- He is majoring in Exercise Sports Management. After graduation he plans to coach baseball at either the high school or college level. Dustin is the son of Tammy Butler and has two younger brothers.
