2008- Cale had a batting average of .310 and hit seven doubles. He played shortstop for the Yellow Jackets and had a fielding percentage of .900. He was named ASC All-West Division Honorable Mention as a shortstop. 

2007- Starting in thirty six games Cale had forty two putouts from shortstop. He had a .248 batting average and led the team in doubles with ten. Cale was named ASC All-West Division Honorable Mention as a shortstop. 

2006-Cale started in thirty seven games out of the Yellow Jackets thirty eight as a freshman. He batted a .289 and had twenty four runs batted in. He recorded fifty six putouts on defense. Cale was named an ASC All-West Division Honorable Mention shortstop. 

HS- He is a 2005 graduate of Stephenville High School where he lettered three years in baseball, two in basketball and one in cross country. He received three Academic All-District honors and All-District honors in basketball. 

Personal- Cale is majoring in Exercise and Sports Science and plans to coach, be a personal trainer and physical therapist after graduation. He is the son of Joe and Shelley Thompson and has two brothers.
