Biography

2011- Jordan broke the HPU career triples record as a junior posting 6 in 2011. He led the Jackets in total bases with 73 and drove in 18 runs. He had a team high 48 hits on 128 at bats with 7 doubles and 5 stolen bases. He was named Second Team ASC All-West Division and Academic All-Conference.

2010- Playing in 33 games for the Jackets in 2010, Jordan had 23 hits on 93 at bats. He had 16 RBIs and was 4 of 4 on stolen bases. He was named Academic All-Conference.

2009- Jordan received Honorable Mention All-West Division as an outfielder for the American Southwest Conference. He started all of the 31 games he played in as a freshman, and had the 3rd most appearances at the plate with 126 at bats, scoring 34 runs and one home run for the Yellow Jackets. Jordan also stole 4 bases out on 5 attempts on the year. 

HS- Jordan is a 2008 graduate of Rockwall High School where he lettered two years in basketball and baseball. He was named 1st Team All-District outfielder and Honorable Mention All-District in basketball. He was Rockwall’s Defensive MVP and had a batting average of .340. He had a game high of 25 points in basketball against the number two team in the district his senior year. 

Personal- He is majoring in Business and is the son of Dana and Linda Hammontree and has three younger brothers.
